Light ion charge exchange in solid thin layers

Description
Calculation of the charge fraction dependences Φi for boron ions with initial charge of i0=1-5 and E=0.33 MeV/nucleon on the thickness T=(0.01-40)x1016 atom/cm2 of solid (celluloid) and nitrogen targets are carried out. Φi(T) in celluloid agree with experimental data well. The equilibrium distribution in celluloid for ions with initial charges i0 near to the equilibrium one ips=3.4 is achieved at Tps ∼ 1.5x1016 atom/cm2. In nitrogen the charge equilibrium is achieved at Tpg twice as lesser than in celluloid
