Study of the process e+e-→e+e-#betta# in the energy region 0.64--1.40 GeV

Description
The cross section for the reaction e+e-→e+e-#betta# has been measured in the electron-positron storage ring VEPP-2M in the range of total energy of the particles 0.64--1.40 GeV. An upper limit has been obtained for the cross section for production of a heavy electron in the mass range 0.12--1.0 GeV
