Screening of the electrostatic potential in the composite fermion system

Description
Screening of the electric field of the test charge by the monolayer and double layer composite fermion systems is considered. The influence of the sample boundary is taken into consideration. It is shown that partial screening of the test charge field at distances much larger than the magnetic length takes place in the system. The value of the screening essentially depends on the filling factor. The effect of the change in the value of screening on transition of the system to the state, which is described by the Halperin wave function, is found
