Probabilistic model of fatigue crack stochastic propagation of welded joint in pressure vessel

Description
Because of the non-homogeneous microstructure of welded joint, it is very likely that the fatigue lives are scatter. The author studies the fatigue failure probabilistic model of the weld zone in welded joint using probabilistic fracture mechanics and reliability analysis methods. The results under Monte-Carlo method show the model is fit well to describe the crack propagation law
