Mass-spectrometric studies of uranyl carboxylates
Creators
Description
Mass spectra were studied of uranyl (VI) carboxylates UO2 (RCCO)2 where R=CH(CH3)2 (I), C(CH3)3 (II), and iso-C4H9 (III). The molecular ion peaks are mildly intense for I and II and are absent for III. The study shows that all three tricarboxylates have a binuclear structure in the gaseous phase
