Theoretical description of γ'-phase formation on surface of binary nickel-silicon alloy during high-energy ion irradiation

Description

A model admitting an analytical description of growth of a new phase on the surface of irradiated binary alloy is considered within the framework of radiation-induced mechanism of transfer of impurity atoms making up complexes with intrinsic interstitial atoms. It is shown that experimental data for Ni-12.7 %Si alloy are well described on the basis of the model proposed
