Description
The data on the atmosphere photon energy spectrum at the various altitudes and latitudes obtained from a balloon-borne scintillation counter are presented. At pressures of 10-500 g/cm2 the photon energy spectrum in the 0.02-3 MeV energy range is invariable and independent of the geomagnetic cut-off threshold of primary cosmic rays. (orig./WBU)
