Formation and growth of point defect clusters and instability of binary solid solutions under irradiation
Creators
Description
A model for formation and growth of interstitial dislocation loops under irradiation in binary solid solutions is suggested. It is shown that generation and growth of dislocation loops can result in instability of solid solution composition and formation of segregations on or wear the loops. Kinetics of the process is considered and dependence of instability on radiation intensity, temperature and nature of solid solution is established
