Problem of pseudomutagenesis. Persistent increased cell change ability induced by radiation and some other agents
- 1. Inst. Ehksperimental'noj Meitsiny RAMN, Sankt-Peterburg (Russian Federation)
Description
paper presents new data obtained using mammal cells proving the point of view concerning the fact that pseudo mutagenesis is one of private manifestation of more general radiation-induced variation regularities of cells (including phenotypical one) occurring with participation of the directed controlled factors. Endothelium of myocardium capillaries of white mongrel male rates exposed to general or local irradiation (heart or intestines) using RUM-17 X-ray apparatus and using 0.5, 2.25, 4.5 Gy; 9 and 30 Gy; 9 and 18 Gy doses, respectively were studied. Unusual phenomenon of persistent increase of probability of cell damage similar for a number of symptoms to the described earlier for various unicellular specimens was detected. Non-stochastic nature of occurrence, quantity, induction possibility, factors and non radiation nature differ the effect from the traditionally studied ones
