Description
A link between the isotopic age discordance of pitchblende from quartz-calcite-pitchblende (kku) veins and its phase heterogeneity has been established. A trend and the sequence of epigenetic transformations of kku-pitchblende were determined. The wide range in isotopic data of pitchblende from kku-veins (about 100 Ma) is shown as related to alterations during the subsequent stages of the hydrothermal processes. U-Pb dating of specially selected microsamples allowed to obtain isotopic data characterizing the primary zoning of pitchblende. (author)
