In the recent years, Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) has been technically accepted as a highly cost-effective process applicable to the production of small, intricate and near-net shape metal parts in high run volumes. The process steps of MIM will be reviewed with a comparison of various binder systems and debinding techniques employed. (author)
