Muonic x-ray studies

Description
Considerable progress has been made in the study of muonic x-rays. A major paper resulting in part from this contract in collaborations with LASL on muonic x-rays of the medium mass nuclei is reviewed and progress on the muonic x-ray spectra on Os-Pt nuclei presented. A quasi-model independent use of muonic x-ray spectra has been developed and should be very important not only to our research program but to all muonic x-ray programs studying deformed nuclei. Finally, a summary of publications, lectures, personnel, miscellaneous items and budget use is appended
