Description

The presentation Main Results the Global Partnership Programme in the Russian in 2008 by Anatoly Grigoriyev from Rosatom, Russia, reported on the Russian and international partners' programmes. Since the beginning of the Global Partnership in 2002, 144 nuclear submarines had been defueled, and 71 of them had been dismantled. Nine reactor units had been conditioned for long term storage and placed in the newly built storage facility at Saida Bay. A similar long-term storage facility in the Far-East was under construction. 15,000 m3 of solid radioactive waste (RW) in the North-West and Far-East had been conditioned. Solid low-level radwaste storage facility had been commissioned at DalRAO company. The presentation reviewed the programmes supported by each CEG member in Russia.
