Simulations of a compressible two-layer mixed-flows model with a staggered implicit scheme
Description
This technical report has been published in EDF's report data-base. An implicit staggered scheme for simulating a Baer-Nunziato like model is investigated. It relies on MAC methods and it is restricted in this report to 1D domain. The time-discretization algorithm is fully implicit and it is solved using a Picard's method. Because of the restriction due to the latter algorithm, accounting for stiff source terms may require very small time-steps. (author)
