Description
Since 1968 the continent of South America has been free from nuclear weapons. The Cold War there was limited to peripheral events - around Cuba and Nicaragua in particular. For all that, with the war in Ukraine the debate could be rekindled: some South American countries might be tempted to question the international order in their claim for a global south
