Available and announced offshore wind turbines

Description
At the end of 2011, about 4000 MW of offshore wind capacity had been installed in Europe. With market shares of respectively 50% and 40%, Siemens and Vestas are the dominant manufacturers on this market. In the field of offshore wind, Siemens is primarily successful with its wind turbine type SET3,6 (3.6 MW) and Vestas with the V90 of 3.0 MW. The offshore wind turbines of other manufacturers that have a higher capacity do not play a significant role with their market share.

In Europa was eind 2011 ongeveer 4000 MW offshore windvermogen geplaatst. Met een marktaandeel van resp. 50 en 40% zijn Siemens en Vestas op dit moment de dominerende fabrikanten op deze markt. Op offshore gebied is Siemens primair succesvol met haar windturbine van de SWT3,6 (3,6 MW) en Vestas met de V90 van 3,0 MW. Beschikbare offshore windturbines van andere fabrikanten met een hoger vermogen spelen op dit moment qua marktaandeel geen rol van betekenis.Additional details
