Heat source/sink effects on non-Newtonian MHD fluid flow and heat transfer over a permeable stretching surface: Lie group analysis

Description
An analysis is performed for flow and heat transfer of a non-Newtonian fluid known as Casson fluid over a permeable stretching surface through a porous medium. Lie Group analysis is used to reduce the governing partial differential equations to non-linear ordinary differential equations. These equations are then solved and solutions are obtained in terms of Kummer's function. A comprehensive study of the problem is made for various parameters. (author)
