Resonance interaction of intensive electromagnetic waves during atomic ionization
Description
Resonance interaction through a continuum of two intensive electromagnetic waves of different frequencies during atom ionization process is considered. The general solution of the problem with the aid of a technique based on the application of the Laplace transform ation to equations for time-dependent probability amplitudes is found. When one of the electromagnetic waves was much weaker than the other, the dynamics of light absorption by an atom was investigated, and the finite value of the ionization probability in the ''bleaching'' region was found
