Description

The purpose of this paper is to show that it is possible to increase the U-235 loading per fuel element without exceeding the universally qualified maximum uranium density of 4.8 g/cm3 or modifying the fuel element geometry. The corresponding R ampersand D work includes both safety aspects and industrial production requirements
