Measurement of scintillation properties of liquid neon for the CLEAN experiment

Description

Preliminary measurements for the 'Cryogenic Low Energy Astrophysics with Noble gases' (CLEAN) detector have been completed. We have measured the time response of the scintillation light due to β energy deposition, and determined two distinct time constants corresponding to the singlet and triplet states of liquid neon
