Forward gamma detector using PWO crystal

Description

We constructed a gamma detector in order to detect gamma-rays at a forward direction. It consists of 252 PbWO4 crystals. The experiment has been performed to measure 2π0s by the Primakov effect and neutral mesons other than π0. The preliminary energy calibration of each crystal is done using cosmic-ray data. Positions of gamma-rays are reconstructed by the center of gravity method. The π0 events obtained by these energy and position information shows the invariant mass resolution which is close to the simulation. (author)
