Determination on ash content of Ehkibastuz coal by natural radioactivity measurement method
Description
The method of Ehkibastuz coal quality control by measuring its natural radioactivity was tested at Reftino hydroelectric power plant. Linear dependence between the level of natural gamma-activity and coal ash content was pointed out. Relative standard deviation from average contents of uranium, thorium and potassium in gold mining wastes constitutes 10, 9 and 22% respectively
