Radiation chemical effects in thermoradiation processes of coal gasification

Description
Experimental and calculated approaches to determination of the value of radiation (epithermal) effect of action of a power electron beam on the processes of coal gasification under conditions of high dose rates (δ∼10 W/cm3) and temperatures (T < or approx. 1000 deg C) are developed. The rate of the radiation reaction is shown to depend on T and δ. Activation energies of radiation and thermal processes are close to one another. To gasify active carbon by CO2, the value of radiation yield CO-G(CO) depends weakly on δ and at T ∼ 650 deg C G(CO) ∼ 2.3 per 100 eV
