The extraction of Sherman functions from unpolarized, low-energy electron scattering from xenon

Description

We demonstrate a phase-shift analysis technique for the extraction of information (Sherman functions) on relativistic interactions from accurate measurements of differential elastic scattering cross sections for xenon, using unpolarized electrons, at energies below 3 eV. Where possible comparison is made with previous experiments and theory, and with our own relativistic scattering calculations. (Author)
