On the age of Ih-Hairhan wolframite deposit (MPR)

For the purpose of determining time of formation and genesis of Ih-Hairhan (Mongolia) wolframite deposit minerals from ores themselves and ore-hearing greisens-orthoclases and muscovites as well as biotite from granite, diabase from preore and intraore dikes have been studied. The age has been determined by the K-Ar method. It is shown that the dUration of rare metal mineralization at the deposit is evaluated in 10-15 million years. The deposit as a whole is of polyformation character formed as a re-- sult of combination at least of two different age ore formations: relatively high-temperature greisen quartz-tungsten and low-temperature hydrothermal quartz-flUorite formation
