Description
We present the Discrete Dark Matter mechanism. In this scenario the stability of the dark matter arises from a spontaneous breaking of a non-Abelian group (flavor symmetry) into one of its Abelian subgroups, this in the framework of a renormalizable extension of the Standard Model. Here we present the inclusion of the quarks on this scheme promoting the quarks to transform in a non-trivial way under the flavor symmetry
