Waste packages approval
Description
The French national agency of radioactive waste management (ANDRA) has to control that each waste package received at the Aube storage facility is conformable with the requested specifications for a storage. A process has been implemented in cooperation with waste producers which warrants the respect of acceptance rules as defined by the agency. This brochure presents the technical requirements and the means implemented to warrant the respect of this quality assurance procedure. (J.S.)
