Description

The EGS4 shower Monte Carlo program was used to investigate the angular and energy response of Double Compton Scattering Telescopes using plastic scintillating fibers coupled to position sensitive photomultipliers. The program allows the optimization of important parameters for future telescopes under development. In this paper, the authors report on the influence of these parameters on efficiency, and angular, position and energy resolution of the telescope
