A review on standard fission neutron spectra of 235U and 252Cf

The usefulness of the two fission neutron spectra of 235U and 252Cf as standard neutron fields is discussed. A summary of the spectrum measurements is presented. The present knowledge of the spectra obtained from the experiments is given. (author)
