Description
Electron microscopic study of F1 males with 200 Gy, revealed great abnormality in eupyrene sperms. The flagellar part showed no uniformity or orderliness in their structure. Moreover, the testis of F2 males descending from P1 males irradiated with 200 Gy and from P1 females irradiated with both 200 and 300 Gy showed inherited abnormalities in the structure of eupyrene sperms. On the other hand, the ultrastructural examination of the ovarioles of F1 females descending from P1 females irradiated with 300 Gy, showed that the protein yolk in the oocytes were defective, the microvilli disappeared and there was a black deposition at the oocyte surface. The follicular cells showed signs of morbidity in both the nucleus and the cytoplasm
