Temperature fields in deformed fuel assemblies of fast reactors

Description

Overheating and growth of the temperature nonuniformity over the fuel element perimeter in FA cross section in the core centre. The upmost overheatings and azimuthal variations in the fuel element temperature are caused by the lattice deformation followed by formation of close-packed fuel cell. In this case the can overheating may consitute hundreds of degrees. Efficient overheating is observed when two fuel elements are in contact. A noticeable fuel can swelling doesn't result in high increase of its temperature and azimuthal nonuniformity of fuel element temperature
