Model of the phase-conjugate mirror

  • 1. Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Al. Lotnikow 32/46, 02-668 Warsaw (Poland)

Description

The solution to the boundary-value problem for a simple model of the plasma-conjugate mirror is presented. The solution is based on a set of two coupled second-order wave equations and does not assume the slowing varying envelope approximation. The formulae for the amplitudes of the waves generated in the four-wave mixing process are derived and their properties are discussed in detail
