Description

One of performance degradations of superconducting cavities in accelerators is field emission due to particle contaminations. A slow pumping system and an improved clean booth have been introduced in order to solve the problem. One cavity in the STF-2 cryomodule was replaced by using these new clean assembly systems, because the cavity performance was quite poor in comparison with others. The results of the clean work are presented in this paper. (author)
