Analysis of the timely detection of cases of thyroid cancer in the male liquidators
- 1. A. Tsyb Medical Radiological Research Centre, Obninsk (Russian Federation)
Description
Automatic translation: Thyroid cancer is a pathology that experts have called the most anticipated consequence of exposure to radionuclides on the human body as a result of the Chernobyl accident. However, according to the data received by the National Radiation and Epidemiological Register (NRER), the liquidators are experiencing an increase in the number of not just neglected cases, but an increase in the number of malignant neoplasms of the thyroid gland that were not diagnosed during life.
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
