The world economy: Its impact on the gas processing industry
Description
This paper reviews the economic tie between the oil and gas industry to demonstrate how the prices of each commodity tend to control the other. It provides graphs and historic data from 1985 to present and projections to the year 2000. It provides methods for calculating the oil-gas ratio of pricing or speculating on price fluctuations. It provides information on a growing world economy and on a growing world oil consumption, showing graphs for oil consumption areas. Based on the economics it projects, the paper makes conclusions regarding the natural gas processing industry to show that it is going to go through rough economic times in the next five years
