The test and study for continuously irradiating the short-lived isotopes in HFETR
Creators
Description
A pressure tube (φ63) which is full of water without the ions is installed in one of cells of HFETR and the capsule containing the target material is irradiated in the pressure tube to produce the short-lived isotopes. It is a new realm of general uses of HFETR. This paper, as an example by means of MoO3 irradiation, introduces the test for continuously producing the short-lived isotope in HFETR. It includes the constructure of the device, the results of the test, the producing ability, etc
