Contact angles of deuterium oxide at the boiling point on copper and polytetrafluoroethylene surfaces at 10-770 Torr
Description
Contact angles are reported for deuterium oxide at the boiling point for a pressure range 10-770 Torr. On a polytetrafluoroethylene surface the angles are found to be invariant with pressure and temperature, as expected from theory. Two inflexions are observed for angles measured on a copper surface, and tentative reasons for this behaviour are discussed.
