Dynamic theory of conversion electron Moessbauer spectroscopy

  • 1. AN SSSR, Kazan. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst.

Description

The dynamic theory of the conversion electron Moessbauer spectroscopy (CEMS) is considered with the help of the electron-nuclear density matrix. The cross section of the Moessbauer conversion process, electron and conversion linewidths are calculated. As an application of the developed theory, the ultrasonic modulation by Rayleigh waves and the γ-ray magnetic resonance effect are investigated. The possibility of the CEMS application for surface phenomena is discussed. (author)
