Observation of nuclear quadrupole maximum in Moessbauer γ-radiation diffraction by Fe3BO6 crystal
Description
It is reported about the detection and investigation into nuclear quadrupole maxima on Fe3BO6 iron borate crystal possessing a complex electric field gradient (EFG) structure. Experimental investigations into quadrupole maxima were performed using Fe3BO6 crystal placed to temperature chamber at 520K. Energy spectrum of nuclear quadrupole reflection and nuclear resonance transition interference under hyperfine quadrupolar splitting of Moessbauer line in the crystal under purely nuclear scattering was observed for the first time
