Effective Hamiltonian of the SU(3) model

Description
Effective Hamiltonians of even nuclei are investigated using means developed for nonaxial rotator model. Two odd-odd 24Mg and 164Er nuclei with well developed rotational spectrum are considered. Parameters of effective Hamiltonians for these nuclei are chosen so that both spectrum of the lowest rotational excitations and probabilities of quadrupole electric transitions between rotational excitations are reproduced
