Analysis of phosphorus-32 - approved standard 1973
Creators
Description
Radiochemical purity and the absolute disintegration rate of 32P preparations are determined. Other ASTM methods are 32P referred to for the following determinations: 32P activity by beta counting, 35/sub s/ and other low-energy β contamination by aluminum absorption curve, gamma contamination by scintillation counting, and chemical characteristics by chemical tests. The chemical tests include determination of heavy metal contaminants, free acid, total solids, and nonvolatile materials
