Gaseous chemical dosimeters for mixed radiations in the nuclear reactor

  • 1. Japan Atomic Energy Research Inst., Tokai, Ibaraki. Tokai Research Establishment

Description

A combination of gaseous chemical dosimeters (CO2, C2H4, and N2O dosimeter) was used to measure and separate mixed radiations in a nuclear reactor. Fission fragment dose rate was measured by C2H4 dosimeter. The dose rates thus determined by the gaseous chemical dosimeters were compared favorably with those calculated using neutron flux in the reactor. (author)
