Description

The following topics were studies: (i) Carbon steel corrosion in anaerobic conditions; (ii) Analytical arrangement for investigation of the corrosion mechanism in an anaerobic electrolyte; (iii) Aggressiveness of model bentonite water solutions; (iv) Electrochemical and resistometric measurements of the anodic reaction rate in dependence on the potential with a view to determining the potential of iron transition from the active state to the passive state; (vi) Research and development of methods for evaluation of radioactive waste packaging material degradation; (vii) Examination of ceramic matrices via diffusion structural diagnosis; and (viii) Interactions between cement matrices and bentonite.
