The method of the gamma-ray-testing of the rocks and ores
Description
The problem of designing the single-detector high-sensitivity devices for directed gamma radiation detection when measuring mass portion of natural radioactive elements in rocks including those of the Clark level is considered. Information on radioactive elements mass portion in tested zone on the background of radiation from surrounding rocks is separated using anisotropy in the detector sensor spectral sensitivity in respect to radiation from the tested zone and environment. Radiation is registered in several spectral ranges
