Description
In this paper higher-order corrections to the single-scattering term for antiproton-deuteron annihilation are evaluated. The authors consider as dominant corrections the initial-state interaction of the antiprotons and the rescattering of pions. For low spectator momenta, these corrections cause a strong modulation of the distribution in the invariant mass of the annihilation pions, which could modify the parameters of the resonant baryonium states.
