Peculiarities of radiation defect formation in zinc sulphides polycrystals

Description

Researches of optical absorption of zinc sulphide mono- and polycrystals irradiated by powerful electrons (E=5 MeV, F=1.7·1018 cm-2) are conducted. Fixed differences in intensity, kinetics of band formation and its discoloring related with F+-centers have been explained by grains' boundaries influence on processes of radiation defect formation
