Ion-optical system of heavy-ion source for time-of-flight measurements
- 1. Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, Moscow (USSR)
Description
An ion-optical system is designed that forms ion beams with various current-pulse durations. The possibility of using this method for analysis of beam parameters by the time-of-flight method is shown. The results of practical application of the ion-optical system in triggering a linear heavy-ion accelerator are presented
