- 1. Instrumentation and Automation Center, Malaysian Nuclear Agency, Bangi, Kajang, Selangor (Malaysia), Technical Support Div.
Description
Full-text: Closed-Circuit Camera Control (CCTV) is a security monitoring system used to monitor an area using video capture methods. The use of CCTV allows operators to monitor areas equipped with CCTV cameras from the control center provided. CCTV systems have been proven to be effective in facilitating monitoring tasks, saving costs, and improving security. Recognizing the high need for the system to operate smoothly without interruption, the PIA has implemented a comprehensive maintenance program on all CCTVs available at the Malaysian Nuclear Agency Complex at a cost of RM 320,000.00 per year. This paper will report on the implementation of the CCTV comprehensive maintenance contract and discuss the issues encountered during the contract. (author)
