Character of distribution of two different elements of the 15th group in chains ∞1(Z-), where Z=P, As, Sb in solid solutions on the basis of Cd2As3I

Description

Substitution of phosphorus and antimony for arsenic in Cd2Al3I, containing one-dimensional-infinite chains infinity1(As-) is studied. It is shown that in the first case continuous series of the Cd2P3-xAsxI solid solutions is formed, the parameters and volume of the elementary cell whereof change with the arsenic content. In the second case the Cd2As3-xSbxI limited solid solution is formed with the maximum content of antimony 10-15 mol.%. Crystal structure of Cd2P13As1.7I and Cd2As2.7Sb0.3I solid solutions is determined. It is found that beth solid solutions are isostructural to Cd2As3I
