Decontamination agents in radiation injury caused by some decay products

Description
The ways for accelerated elimination of cesium 137, iodine 131 and strontium 89 from the body in acute intoxication with isotopic mixture of unknown decay products was studied. The efficiency of the following decontamination agents was investigated: sodium fluoride, AT-10, pentacyne, furantryl, edrul, arelix, ferondine, potassium iodide and ferocine + potassium iodide. Radiometric measurements of radioactivity of the whole body, femur, muscles and thyroid were made. Data for protection coefficients of the agents are given
